The Board is in the process of changing the state and federal background check process. The new process will be electronic which will reduce the turnaround time significantly. New instructions will be on the website the last week of February. Beginning around March 1, 2017, the background check process will be slightly different. If some of your upcoming graduates have already completed the background check, these will be accepted. Questions regarding the changes should be emailed to Tonya.J.Hancock@wv.gov.
